Education:

2006 B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Arts) with Great Distinction, major in Studio Art, Painting, at University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

1995 B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education) with Distinction, major in Secondary Français, minor in Fine Arts at University of Regina, Regina, Saskatchewan, with a year of studies at Université Laval, Québec City, Québec.

Actor:

2003-2009 Actor in Sky High Production's "The Pull of the Land" and "The Pull of the Land - The Sequel", a popular home-grown musical, produced in Harris, Saskatchewan. The play toured in Alberta and Saskatchewan (including Saskatoon's TCU place) for seven years, produced two CD's and two DVD's of the productions, and has continued to show during Harris' Annual Summer Festival. The last performance was in July 2009.

1991-1995 Improv group at Association culturelle fransaskoise de Régina (Community francophone group)

1989-1991 Actor in high school productions at L'École St-Isidore de Bellevue School, Bellevue, Saskatchewan.

1988 Was part of an improv duo who promoted Shirley Ranger as part of an advertising campaign at Rivier Academy, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Playwright:

Conceptualized and wrote plays with student group "Les Juxtaposés" from L'École canadienne-française of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in conjunction with animators from the program Animation théâtrale financed by CCF and La Troupe du jour (Professional Francophone Theatre Group from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan).

1999 Play entitled "C'est aussi simple que le divan bleu devant vos yeux".

2003 Directed high school theatre group "Les Juxtaposés" from L'École canadienne-française of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in our own "Le Bureau" in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Donnacona, Québec.

2002 Directed high school theatre group "Les Juxtaposés" from L'École canadienne-française of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in "Le Bad Guy et la veuve" by Laurier Gareau as part of a fundraiser for a theatre exchange to Québec.

1999 Directed high school theatre group "Les Juxtaposés" from L'École canadienne-française of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in "C'est aussi simple que le divan bleu devant vos yeux" as part of Festival théâtral jeunesse (Annual Youth Theatre Festival) at Candle Lake, Saskatchewan.

1998 Directed Community Theatre group for a historical drama written for Bellegarde's centennial as part of La Fête fransaskoise (annual provincial francophone festival) written by Laurier Gareau, Bellegarde, Saskatchewan.

1996 Directed students from École de Bellegarde School in "Joe Bolduc, Private Eye" by Laurier Gareau, Bellegarde, Saskatchewan.

Drama Teacher:

1995-2004 Taught Visual Arts, Arts Education, Drama, English, etc. for the Division scolaire francophone #310 at L'École canadienne-française at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and L'École de Bellegarde. Bellegarde, Saskatchewan.

2003 Organized a theatre exchange through SEVEC with high school troupe "Les Juxtaposés" and theatre group from Donnacona, Québec. Included trip to Québec with the troupe.

Theatre Related Work Experience:

1993 Improv actor creating various dramatizations for the training of RCMP recruits, Regina, Saskatchewan.

1992 Actor in French and English versions of "The Bad Guy and the Widow" by Laurier Gareau at La Ferme Champêtre Farm, St-Denis, Saskatchewan.

Art Related Activities and Interests:

Cultural Attache of Saskatchewan Chapter for Les jeux de la francophonie (youth), consisting of various dossiers in Visual Arts, Improv, and Music. (1998-99).

Volunteering within Saskatchewan's francophone community, especially with l'Association jeunesse fransaskoise (AJF - provincial youth organisation).

Singing and acting within various choirs, in musical dinner theatre, and within francophone community.
